How Does the Flea Spray & Prevention Work?
Treatment normally involves spraying your property and surrounding landscape (shrubbery, trees, long grass, under decks and other hot spots) with our special formula every 3-4 weeks (depending on the weather- amount of rainfall).
We use 2 different flea control products depending on the situation.
Option 1 [most popular]: This barrier treatment utilizes a synthetic product that is similar to what is derived from the extract of chrysanthemum plants that kills fleas on contact. The product is commonly what is used for regular flea control in pets and head lice shampoos.
Option 2: Our natural formula alternative contains a concentrated garlic oil that works on fleas because they are over ten thousand times more sensitive to it than humans! The odour dissipates within 24-48 hours, but still continues to repel the fleas!
Do I need Flea Extermination?
Fleas inflict painful bites and are a giant pain to pet owners because they can transmit a variety of diseases to both humans and pets. The most common species of fleas are the cat flea (ctenocephalides felis), dog flea (ctenocephalides canis), and human flea (pulex irritans). Removing fleas from your yard will help ensure that your pets don’t get infested repetitively.
